A pet shelter owner who hid six starving dogs and a cat in a freezer has been jailed for seven months.

Zara Brown, 29, was supposed to be looking after the animals at Ayrshire Ark dog shelter in Patna, Scotland.
But rather than caring for them, she left them to wallow in their own dirt, become malnourished and eventually die.
Some of the dogs even had infections and other health problems.
