The RSCPA website does have a section offering rabbit adoption and tips on keeping the furry animals.
Earlier this week A pair of injured rabbits were abandoned on a Plymouth roadside.
The animals have been named Mark and Jeremy and will spend Easter being cared for at Woodside Animal Welfare Sanctuary.
The adorable bunnies were found in a small pet carrier by the entrance to Woodside Animal Welfare Sanctuary near Plympton.
Both had injuries, which staff at the sanctuary believe they had inflicted on each other. Staff caring for the new arrivals made a plea to the public not to buy bunnies as gifts this Easter.
