A cat stranded 90ft from the ground atop a viaduct has been rescued by firefighters and the RSPCA – but only after a lengthy three-day wait.
A passer-by had spotted the animal in Stockport and they alerted the charity – who unfortunately didn’t have the right apparatus to get the lonesome pet down.
The fire service, with the aid of a cage and a cherry picker, managed to coax the cat down eventually, despite the creature being a tad reluctant.
