More than 80 chihuahuas were found crammed into a ‘filthy and cramped’ home by police investigating their owner’s death.
The terrified dogs, who had never been outside, were discovered covered in fleas and burns in the property where they lived with their owner and her husband.
Police had launched an investigation after she died, but established that there were no suspicious circumstances.
