The horrifically starved body of a dog was found dumped near a school over the Christmas period.
The emaciated remains of the Springer Spaniel were discovered stuffed into a bag on Boxing Day by a dog walker in Iwade, Kent.
Police say the dog was about five years old, and could have been dead for a few days before it was found.
The RSPCA have called the apparent mistreatment and dumping of the dog ‘callus’, and said the dog ‘clearly suffered before its death’.
