A solicitor who locked her pet dog in a kitchen and left it to die an agonising death is facing a prison term.

Katy Gammon moved out of her home and left her five-year-old boxer Roxy trapped inside without food or water.

It was not until neighbours reported a large amount of flies outside the property that the dog’s rotting remains were discovered 10 weeks later.
