Police officers smashed the windows of a baking hot car to save the life of a dog trapped inside.
The mutt was found cowering in the footwell on the driver’s side after police were called to Finsbury Park in north London on the hottest day of the year.
Temperatures reached 32C on Friday – yet the owner was no where to be seen.
