Two men are due in court today accused of eating two goldfish alive.
Jack Blowers, 20, and Joseph Meikle, also 20, were charged by the RSPCA after swallowing the goldfish and regurgitating them.
The pair, who are from Lowstoft in Suffolk, will appear at Lowestoft Magistrates’ Court later today accused of failing to protect the goldfish from suffering and injury by failing provide a suitable environment for them after swallowing them and bringing them back up.
The offences are under the Animal Welfare Act.
