Police in Kent have cordoned off parts of Brooklands Lake, near Powder Mill Lane in Dartford, after a dog walker said that three of her pets had become ill and later died.

A pet was snatched from his owner’s garden and ‘slaughtered’, leaving a trail of blood all over the pavement.
Turbo, a white American bulldog, was last seen by his owner outside in his garden in Liverpool at around 8.30pm on the night of the attack.
